Masterpiece Stained Glass. We have been manufacturing leaded glass windows since 1981. We are located in Poway California and install windows throughout all of Southern California.
Are these real leaded glass windows?
Yes. Masterpiece makes the finest precision leaded glass windows on the market today, using superior quality materials. A 5/32 inch precision polished lead is used as opposed to the industry standard 1/4 inch lead. The thinner lead gives a much more elegant look to the window, without sacrificing structural integrity.
What guarantees come with these windows?
By design, these windows are fully weatherized to stand up against rain and harsh sunlight. Please refer to our Warranty Page for further information.
Can these windows be installed behind my original windows?
This is not recommended. Placing leaded glass windows behind your regular windows can result in a moisture barrier and the subsequent accumulation of moisture between the windows. In addition, placing the windows behind regular windows would considerably reduce the elegance of the leaded glass windows.
Will these windows reduce the sun's ultra-violet rays?
Yes. These ultra-violet rays can fade your carpet and furniture. Leaded glass will diffuse the sunlight considerably. Smoked glass can provide even more ultra-violet protection.
